We now have an exciting opportunity for Public Area Cleaner to join our housekeeping Department.

As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties.

The main duties expected within the role are:

Ensure that all public areas and facilities are cleaned to Switch Hospitality Brand Standard and to maintain excellent operating standards as well as meeting mystery audit standards.

Ensure that all public areas and facilities are clean, not scuffed and have no defects that the guest will experience.

To ensure your trolley is well stocked with cleaning equipment, guest room supplies and supplied linen stock at the start of every shift. Ensure your trolley is replenished for the next shift.

Only use cleaning products and materials that have been provided by the hotel and only use products from company agreed suppliers.

To abide by the time allocated for cleaning and preparing Front and Back of house areas without compromising standards.

Work to given tasks assigned by the Executive or Head Housekeeper along with the completion of usual duties.

Guarantee guest issues are managed in a timely and professional manor, ensuring complete guest satisfaction and that this is communicated effectively through relevant departments.

Demonstrate excellent time keeping and complete duties assigned in a timely manner.

To create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues in the housekeeping department and other departments throughout the hotel.

When possible, support the team in times of staff shortages and to cover absences.
